High speed in a small space
We have designed the RF-P series solid shaft gearboxes for fast applications in the smallest of spaces. This makes them ideal for use in the arm axes of Delta and SCARA robots or in the wheel drive of automated guided vehicles.
Ideal for pick-and-place and positioning applications
The compact cycloidal gears of the RF-P series set new standards when it comes to high speed in a small installation space. They enable output speeds of 200 min-1 and work with extreme precision (hysteresis loss < 2 arcmin). Thanks to their cycloidal design with a two-stage reduction principle, they require minimal wear - a major advantage over conventional planetary gearboxes! This results in low backlash over the entire service life of up to 20,000 operating hours. The RF-P series is therefore the first choice for dynamic pick-and-place, handling and positioning applications!
In machine tool construction, the RF-P gearboxes are particularly suitable for use in automatic tool changers (ATC). The reduction gearboxes offer advantages, especially in versions with a chain, where the speed can be significantly increased. Tools can be changed much faster. The optional version with housing rotation also allows the user to rotate the sprocket directly with the gearbox housing. This saves time and costs during assembly!
