Ergonomic and economical positioning
The RSX-40K variable rotary indexer has two axes: one for rotating and one for swiveling. Both axes are equipped with hollow shafts so that cables can easily be fed through to supply the fixing or clamping devices. The particularly flat rotary indexer can take a load of 4 t and has a positioning accuracy of <1 arcmin. An additional swivel axis ensures exceptional ergonomics: the operator can use it to adjust the positioning precisely to their personal requirements.
The swivel axis also allows tilting of +/- 16°. This enables the system manufacturer to position the positioner precisely at the required height. The system can therefore be individually adapted to the ergonomic workplace design of different employees. This means a considerable competitive advantage over conventional positioning systems.
