The Nabtesco booth was easy to find at the trade show in Munich: Stationed at the entrance, the company’s two new mascots, Nabby and Tessy, showed visitors to automatica the way. Once in Hall B6, visitors could then immerse themselves in cycloidal gear technology – and there was plenty to discover. Under the motto “The power at your side” the cycloidal gear specialist with European headquarters in Düsseldorf presented numerous innovative solutions for automation and robotics.
Plenty to discover and experience
Highlights included the new Neco® HT-900, the world’s largest plug & play precision gear with a hysteresis loss of < 0.5 arc.min. Other products of interest: modular high-torque gears in new sizes, the user-friendly Neco® series, the hollow shaft gears of the RD-C series, the RS rotary indexers, the fully integrated and decentralised drive unit with Mecanum wheel for automated guided vehicles (AGV) and the Zeta series, which was specially developed for use in large-scale robot production. As always, there was no lack of fun. Those who dared could put their jump & run skills to the test on an oversized Nabtesco Game touchscreen. “For us, automatica was a complete success. We had a lot of fun – and so did our visitors. The interest in our products, innovations and solutions was overwhelming. The inspiring atmosphere allowed us to establish high-quality contacts,” sums up Daniel Obladen, Head of Sales General Industries at Nabtesco Precision Europe GmbH.
A partner in high demand for automation and robotics
For more than 35 years, Nabtesco has been supplying innovative industrial drive solutions as a reliable partner in helping customers to grow their businesses. Meanwhile, well over eleven million gear systems are in use around the world. Whether for robotics or classic mechanical and plant engineering: Thanks to their high precision and power density, Nabtesco cycloidal gears are a guarantee of efficiency, performance and reliability, making them the ideal choice for future-proof manufacturing and logistics processes. The innovative gear systems are characterised by high dynamics and precision (hysteresis loss 0.5 to max. 1 arcmin) and low wear over their entire service life, thus making a significant contribution to streamlining machining processes, improving product quality and increasing productivity. Due to their compact design, they also enable the construction of smaller plant and machinery, which has a positive effect on the energy and resource consumption as well as the total operating costs.
