As torque and speed converters, our precision gearboxes are a central component of every servo geared motor. They can be quickly and easily integrated into the drive train and can be operated with all common servo motors. The pre-installed motor adapter plate and the motor shaft coupling for servo motors significantly reduce the design and installation effort.

  • Coaxial gearboxes: Neco® (solid shaft), RDS (hollow shaft or solid shaft)
  • Parallel strain wave gears: RDP (hollow shaft or solid shaft)
  • Angular gearboxes: RDR (hollow shaft or solid shaft)

In coaxial and parallel strain wave gears, the driving and driven shafts are in the same plane. This means that the flow of force is linear. In right-angle gearboxes, the driving and driven shafts are perpendicular to each other and the flow of force is deflected at right angles.

The RD series: a real all-rounder

The servo gearboxes in the RD series are extremely versatile thanks to their three mounting variants. While the RDR series is designed for right-angle mounting, the RDS series is suitable for direct mounting; finally, the RDP is a variant with belt drive. The precision gearboxes are available with a solid shaft (RD-E) or a hollow shaft (RD-C) .
